Since its acquisition by Swarovski in 2013, Chamilia has grown and prospered with the support of Swarovski’s worldwide expertise.
Swarovski designs manufacture and markets crystals, genuine gemstones and finished products including jewelry and accessories, home décor, beauty products and lighting.
This diverse product portfolio also incorporates precision optical instruments such as telescopes and binoculars, grinding, drilling and sawing tools and industrial lighting.
Expanding upon these offerings, Swarovski looked to engage in further experiences, publications, and apps that illuminate the many different facets of the Swarovski business. Swarovski Entertainment, the Company’s film division, was launched to develop, finance, and produce original and artistically accomplished feature films through collaborations with exceptional talent and industry partners. To bring its signature brilliance to the public, Swarovski established Swarovski Kristallwelten, a dazzling interactive crystal experience in Wattens, Austria as well as the Swarovski Crystal Society, a members-only program uniting crystal enthusiasts throughout the world with exclusive and limited edition crystal figurines.
Swarovski’s efforts extend beyond the consumer through organizations like the Swarovski Foundation and Waterschool.
The Swarovski Foundation was established in 2013 to pursue charitable goals, honoring the philanthropic spirit of Daniel Swarovski who founded the crystal business in 1895. Since then, five generations of the Swarovski family have reinforced the company’s commitment to philanthropy and charitable giving.
The Foundation’s mission is to build on this heritage by supporting charitable initiatives and organizations working in three areas of culture and creativity, promoting wellbeing and conserving natural resources.
Waterschool seeks to empower the youth through educational workshops highlighting the importance of water conservation. The organization has been working in schools and communities around the globe to educate children, families and schools to become water stewards and leaders in sustainable development within their community.
